A few resent Creations...

Just an update of a few things I have been doing... One is a prayer strand I made for my pregnancy and I just love the feel of this... I have made one for each of my pregnancies and will save them for my girls to give them when the get older...

My own space...

Oh how I dream of having my own space to do my work... Right now I work mostly in the bedroom on our bed... Let me tell you it's not fun when your trying to get to sleep and you realize you spilled some seed beads in the sheets and they are now everywhere... So I long for a place to just unpack everything and have my work space set up for whenever I want to work... Not pack it all up when I am ready to go to sleep or the girls are getting into everything... A room all to myself where I can close the door... My mom has mentioned more and more of us swapping houses and I can't wait... The only thing holding it all up is my brother and sil living there... When they finally get it all together and get their own place we will be moving in... The girls will have more room to play but so will mommy... Her own work space... I have been looking at furniture all ready... I want to find the perfect corner desk... I am going to set up in my old bedroom that looks out over the hills and has plenty of natural light... I know its silly but I get so excited thinking about it... I can have a place to be creative and it will all be in one spot... Oh how nice that would be...

Playing with wire for a bracelet idea... This is still being worked on thinking of adding some gems and stuff just waiting for a bead order to get here... Pretty cool though... I love working with wire...

Wire work

Well I havent updated in awhile so I thought I would on the design site... This is my latest love, wire work... I dont have the right tools yet but I get by... I got tired of waiting to find the right stuff so I made due with hammers... Hey it works... I have an anvil coming but this gets me buy for now...

Copper wire

Playing around some more with wire... I did this while watching tv tonight... didnt take me that long... I kinda sketched it out first then went to work to figure out how to make it... I really LOVE doing this... I really need to get a metal hammer and plate so i can play around... So far I think this is my favorite... Still want to do a few things to it but i am really happy with this... :)

Been playing around this weekend with a few things... I redid the one prayer strand I was working on... I like this new version of her... I also have been playing around with wire you can see the scrolls in the one picture... I am having fun with that... I also wrapped a piece of mexican crazy lace agate that goddess joy gave me and I put on the top of it a piece of carnelian I have... Funky little beads...

I saw this on a site and had to figure out how to make it and then put one together in copper... Its only a test one, but I will make it again now that i played around... its adjustable too...

Variety

Three prayers

Here you have a few different types... One is the full moon prayer strand, 13 6mm beads in rose quartz and garnet... Then we have the prayer strand... She is made of 40 beads... Garnet ovals and 6mm rose quartz... She starts with a RQ point, then a 4mm garnet, then three oval garnets, two RQ 6mm, then 5 mix of RQ and Garent ovals... they add up to 10 so far, then the next 6 sections with 5 gems to a section will add up to 30.... Basically the strand works , first three beads are for what ever rede you follow, then the next two are to honor the god and goddess, then the next 5 are for the elements, on the rest of the strand are the prayer beads you would say your prayers over...
The Last strand is the Y strand... Again she is made up of 40 beads... She goes pendant, three rede beads, god and goddess beads, 5 elemental beads, connected by a Y connector that leads to the 30 prayers beads... She is done in garent ovals and 6mm RQ... This is just a glance at some of the styles I make...

FullMoon

These are my full moon prayer beads... I make them all different ways but with 13 6mm gemstones, or beads... I put a decorative pendant on one side and usually finish off with an 8mm bead of some sort, with variation ...

Love Goddess Prayer Beads

This is Love Goddess... She is made with rose quartz, moonstone , and labradorite... She starts with a lovely crescent moon in rose quartz, then follows with a copper twisted ring, then three copper daisy spacers, three rq 6mm , again three daisy beads, then moonstone labradorite and moonstone again, followed by the three daisy beads, and then three more 6mm rq, three daisy beads, that lead to a lovely copper focal bead, which leads to the circle of rq beads done three times with thirteen 6mm rq beads again seperated by three copper daisy beads...
